The Office of the Illinois Attorney General has proposed rules entitled Public Access Counselor. This rulemaking was published in the Illinois Register on January 15, 2010. The Register can be downloaded at

Please note that this is the FIRST NOTICE (PUBLIC COMMENT) period of the Illinois rulemaking process as outlined by the Illinois Administrative Procedure Act. Public Comments will be accepted until February 28, 2010.
