The Masters of Public Administration (MPA) and Masters of Public Policy (MPP) programs at the University of Illinois, Chicago (UIC) are accepting proposals from public agencies for Capstone projects for the spring semester. These “learning in action” projects give graduating MPA and MPP students the opportunity to work on practical problems with the support of faculty in a real-world situation. Each student team works with a client agency or organization on a particular problem or challenge on which the students’ expertise can be brought to bear. Areas of specialization include financial management, human resource management, public policy, program evaluation, public policy and information management. The projects last the entire semester so that there is an opportunity for the students to do in-depth work.
The deadline for project proposals for the spring semester is December 4.
The request for proposals and application form can be found at the following URL - https://go.uic.edu/capstone.
