On the Neighborhood Watch...

 Two items to report ....  

There was a report of a dog being taken from its yard. The dog is now back home.

Also a lawn tractor and landscaping tools were taken from another resident's property.

Senate Bill 1862  Strengthening of Scott's Law..

This Bill covers more workers and enhances penalties. Now stationary authorized vehicles with oscillating lights, first responders, IDOT workers, law enforcement officers and individual authorized to be on the highway within the premise of their employment duties.  Please be watchful as traveling!!!!


The McHenry County Department of Health has announced their second Annual Operation Drop Box. This event is to support McHenry County Veterans. Until October 21st you have the opportunity to donate at the McHenry County Administration Building and Treasurer's office. More more details visit www.mcdh.info

 United Way 211, has a link attached to the Township's website.  Provides help to any challenge faced.

Public Notice: The Township/Road District of Dunham passed an ordinance establishing  wage rates for construction to be the same as those in McHenry County as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor. Anyone interested in inspecting the ordinance can do so, by contacting Jennifer Pihl at 815-943-5598.

    Did you know that the McHenry County Sheriff offers a crime mapping application on their website? www.mchenrysheriff.org This application will keep you informed of recent crime in your area. You can also sign up for nixle thru their website

 A new app is available titled MCHELP. The app can be downloaded thru I Tunes  and Google Play. Immediate access to professional crisis counselors via text messaging, for teens. This program is confidential and anonymous. It is provided by The McHenry County Community Foundation.

A McHenry Aware app was recently released by The McHenry County Emergency Management.  This app features local weather alerts, road conditions, emergency information, an event calendar, etc.  The app is available thru the Apple App store or google play store. 

Meeting Dates:

Township meeting Dates for 2019 are as follows:1/8, 2/12, 3/12, 4/09, 5/14, 6/11, 7/09, 8/13, 9/10, 10/08, 11/12, and 12/10. The April meeting will consist of the budget hearings and annual meeting which will start at 6:30 pm. The meetings are the second Tuesday of the month.
