Roscoe Township - A Clean Slate for Roscoe Township
Township Government is the government closest to the people.
We believe in the people's ability to review complete and full information as to government affairs so that all of us may fulfill our civic duty of discussing public issues fully and freely and to monitor government to ensure it is conducted in the public interest.

ILLINOIS STATUTE MANDATES 3 FUNCTION FOR TOWNSHIPS:
1) Road and Bridge Maintenance
2) Property Assessment
3) General Assistance to those in need
However, Townships often do a lot more. Many Townships have taken steps to provide specific needs within their communities and to design creative programs to help fill those needs. Roscoe Township, in addition to their mandated functions, supports and maintains 3 cemeteries, 2 parks, Stone Bridge Trail and the Hononegah Recreation Path.
